SMS Terms for Host Alerts

Program

Pisgah Base Camp Host Alerts is a text message program run by Pisgah Base Camp, owned by James Banks, from the toll-free number (888) 668-1969.

Who receives texts

This program texts only the two hosts of Pisgah Base Camp, the owner and the co-host. Each host agreed to receive these alerts and gave their own mobile number for them. We never send texts from this number to guests, website visitors, or anyone else.

What the texts say

When a visitor on pisgahbasecamp.com asks the Pisgah Basecamp Assistant to reach the hosts, each host gets one text naming who sent the message and saying the details are in their email. For example: "Pisgah Base Camp alert: Sarah Miller sent a message through the website assistant. Details are in your email. Reply STOP to opt out."

How often

Message frequency varies with how often visitors ask to reach the hosts, which we expect to stay under 100 texts a month.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out and help

Reply STOP to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help. The hosts can also opt out by asking the owner to remove their number.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

We do not share or sell mobile numbers or opt-in information to third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy.
